The reason there is a size difference is because the distance between where the power is coming from and being deposited it is getting closer to the positive therefore they deposit faster which means smaller molecules can stick easier when it was having to travel that distance it took more molecules collectively to create enough amperage to be deposited it's the same concept as load on line and no I did not typos that there's not supposed to be a single word for on line it's an electricity term.

It is very interesting that we can make synthetic rubies and sapphires for industry from powders of alumina oxide and chromium oxide, sapphires only need the alumina oxide powder.

UV sounds simple but, there a wide range in UV type light so, more importantly, what is the nm frequency of your light? I suggest using 365nm but maybe rubies are better under a different wave length?

I think what went wrong here is that you overcooked them. I've seen it mentioned in papers before, but if you overheat a gem while treating it you can destroy it, causing it to lessen or even lose it's color and become unstable, just like the rubies here did. perhaps you might have more success treating higher quality corundum's? buying some sapphire gravel from gem mountain might provide a good amount of stones to test on. they usually have a lot bigger of a reaction to treatment :D

Planning my build.. Would holes on the bottom 1 or 3 plates for the processed material to fall be better. Gravity usually makes things fall down. I'm thinking a bigger flale shaft would be better to maybe 1 inch? Would horizontal weld lines on inside plates help brake material better? What would be a better/harder material than chain or attached to end of chains?

Don’t heat them. Soak them in Lemon juice, red wine vinegar and Sea Salt. It will take about six to ten years but the matrix will be gone and you will have Ruby Crystal. Then use a rotary tool with a nurf ball tip and very fine grit diamond powder. Use a super glue and brush it on the nurf ball tip then dip into the Diamond powder. Use a water drip while polishing. One more thing I learned about heat treatment is a ruby can quickly turn into a pink sapphire so be careful. Also if you soak Gem's my way then do a large amount because you will age so don't waste time on just a few hundred carats. Go big with 20,000 or more carat's. 🥕🐇* * Through you I establish Judah. 😊 And I strengthen the the Sky from the Ruby to the Diamond! I realized this like the Book of Isaiah in a Dream! But the Idea is started in the Word of God and the Ruby is found in the Holy land of Burma as written in the Holy Avesta. And the Opportunity is found as the heavens open up and pour down the blessings of the Father from heaven under Heaven. This is a Secret given to me by the Father so in the days of My kingdom under the Father's Kingdom on Surface Earth so in those days I expect you to be rich although I speak in total Mystery. 😊 Because it is in your hands you are made to understand. To the unbelievers it is a crazy men speaking rubbish. 🤣

I ask you this question because I don't know where there is a business like this here and I want to bring my own that I have. They are transparent for more than 400 carats and others for less carats. but although these occur. They would be good like Fura Star Ruby
